Tiffany Prater is a dedicated educator and community leader standing up for the hard-working families of District 12. Her vision is rooted in transparency, localized solutions, and a deep commitment to the people of Oklahoma.

Early Life & Family

Tiffany Prater’s journey is one defined by resilience and a deep-rooted connection to Oklahoma. Growing up with a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing working families, her early years were shaped by the values of hard work and community support. As a young mother, she navigated the pressures of balancing childcare and employment, an experience that fueled her belief in the power of strong, compassionate policy.

Today, Tiffany and her husband are raising their three children in House District 12, instilling in them the same principles of integrity and responsibility. Her role as a parent keeps her grounded in the daily realities of local families—from school schedules to the rising costs of living.

Career & Community Service

Tiffany’s professional background is as diverse as the district she seeks to represent. For a decade, she served as a Surgical Technologist at Comanche County Memorial Hospital, working in high-pressure environments to ensure patient safety and care. This experience gave her a profound understanding of Oklahoma’s healthcare needs and the critical importance of supporting our frontline medical professionals.

Currently, Tiffany is a dedicated teacher at Jenks Middle School. In the classroom, she focuses on nurturing critical thinking and civic responsibility in the next generation. Her commitment to education extended to serving on Oklahoma’s Social Studies Standards Committee in 2024, where she advocated for academic standards that prepare students for a lifetime of informed citizenship.

Why She’s Running

Tiffany is running for Oklahoma State House District 12 because she believes that true leadership comes from a place of service and shared experience. She sees the gaps in our current systems—from underfunded rural schools to the rising hurdles in healthcare access—and knows that we need a representative who listens more than they lecture.

Her mission is simple: to be the voice for those who work hard every day to build a better life for their families. Tiffany is committed to fighting for transparent government, revitalized local infrastructure, and a public education system that puts students and teachers first. She is ready to take her dedication from the operating room and the classroom to the State Capitol.
